Now that Upendo Cottage if finally complete, I wanted to explain why it has taken so long to complete this project. Every brick used to build the cottage was made from scratch from clay on our property in Ol Kalou. It was a two year endeavor making the bricks one by one, dried in the sun, stacked and then fired in our own kilns built on our site.
