Purity’s Story

Posted in: General

This is Purity, from our Hope & Light location, she burnt her hand as she tried to warm some tea with an electric water heater. After medical assessment, the Doctor advised that therapy and specialized nerve treatment could restore her arm.

We were able to take Purity to see an Orthopedic consultant, and she was approved for reconstruction surgery for the arm. By the grace of God, Purity was admitted at Kikuyu Orthopedic Center and had her wrist and hand contraction release surgery. She was a bit anxious, but God saw her through, the operation was a huge success. Purity is at Hope and Light recovering, she will visit the hospital every 2 days and go back for pin removal soon.

We thank God for this, and we are trusting He will get her through to complete healing. Thank you to all of our supporters for making it possible to care for the vulnerable children of Kenya!
